Who are the best free agents on the market that United could target?

We’re in the thick of the transfer window now. The club has already unveiled some solid players. Callum Stead, Isaac Heath, the return of Gassan Ahadme, and Patrick Bauer have all linked up with the team so far.

But of course, there are still some holes in the squad… and there are plenty of players looking for new clubs! For this piece, I’ve cast my net over (most of) the free agents from the EFL to see who might be interesting options.

The key positions I’ve looked for are Centre Back, Left Back, and Midfielder. Because there’s so many players here, in the interest of length I won’t go too far into detail on each of them.
