Introducing... Isaac Heath
Everything you need to know about United's second new signing
It’s fair to say that Cambridge United’s summer transfer window started with a bang. First, there was the announcement of exciting attacker Callum Stead, recently released by Barnet after a successful three seasons, scoring double-figure goals in every season. (You can read his introduction piece here if you haven’t already.)
And not long after that, United backed it up with a second signing, adding yet more young and exciting attacking talent: welcome to the U’s, Isaac Heath.
The 21-year-old has joined on a three-year deal for what we can probably assume to be a club-record transfer fee from Everton, having spent last season on loan at Accrington Stanley in League Two.
Like we’re going to do all summer, we’ve put together an introduction to Harris’ latest recruit, taking a look at his career so far, some underlying numbers, and finding out what fans of his old clubs make of him.
