U's 0-3 Lincoln: Nowhere Near Good Enough.
Bonner: "If this season ends with us being a League One club next year, then that's job done. That's what we are fighting to do, which means by definition we have to win 14 games, which means by definition we don't win 32."
My question for Paul Barry: You've got to be wanting a bit more than this haven't you? Have a think whether you want to scrape by by the skin of our teeth again this season, or whether you want us to play like we used to play, taking the game to teams how we did in our first season back in L1. We can accept the odd thumping, but we're rolling over for teams that on paper should be our equal, but in reality are miles ahead of us. We're not talking about big teams either, but teams with a work ethic and style of football that we're sorely lacking in.
I'm not quite calling for the managers head just yet, but we need to see something more from this side soon. It's been over a year since we last scored more than twice in a league game, and on current form it'll be another year until we do so again.
Man of the Match: George Thomas, for passing the ball to the referee from a direct free kick and giving us all a slight chuckle no matter how utterly dire. the situation is.
Soundtrack of the Match: A chorus of boos. On loop.
