Sheffield Wednesday (H) Match Preview
United return to what is sure to be a packed-out Abbey on Saturday as Sheffield Wednesday come to town. Bonner's not been too pleased with how things have gone recently, but he says there's no need to panic... we'll see if that still rings true at 5pm tomorrow night.
Squad wise, Adam May, Brandon Haunstrup and Will Mannion are all set to miss out, with Harrison Dunk facing a late fitness test, which means we expect George Williams to continue to deputise at left back, with Liam O'Neil coming into the XI.
Expected U's Line-Up: Mitov, Okedina, Jones, Taylor, Williams, O'Neil, Digby, Brophy, Knibbs, Smith, Ironside
Who's In The Dugout? With experience at both Premier League and Championship levels, Darren Moore is expected to help Sheffield Wednesday make a quick return up the leagues. After missing out last season, can he put it right this time around?
Who's Their Player To Watch? Ten-Grand-A-Week Barry Bannan. Since the retirement of Wes Hoolahan last season, probably the best player in the League.
What's Their Recent Form Like? Won three, drawn one, lost one of the last five. Currently third in the table with 8 wins from 13.
Any Ex-United Players? None
Last Time Out: Sheffield Wednesday 6-0 United, 12 March 2022.
One to forget, I reckon.
