With a new season on the horizon, we’re making a small but exciting change: we’re launching The Coconut Tier.

After six years and over 300 episodes, we’re proud to have built something that brings you nearly two hours of podcast content each week, alongside thoughtful feature articles and a buzzing chat room on Substack. And we’ve loved every minute of it.

This year, we want to do even more. We’re expanding our written offering, with at least one feature article a week, ranging from Ben Griffis’ data insights to opinion columns and interviews with current and former players. But with busy lives and limited time, we need a little help to keep everything running smoothly. That’s where the Coconut Tier comes in.

For less than the price of a pint in Cambridge, just £5 a month, you’ll get:

• At least one feature article every week

• Bonus podcast content every month

• First dibs on upcoming merch drops

• (You can show off to your mates that you support UTAS and you’re not a round dodger)

This week, for example, you’ll be able to read an exclusive interview with Dom Ball ahead of the new season, plus extra pod content from our chat with Mark Bonner and Alex Tunbridge. There will also be a fresh release of our very popular sold-out coasters which you will get first dibs on.

For now, everything else is remaining free: the Review Show, the Preview Show, the newsletter and chat room, nothing changes. We want to keep as much of UTAS open to all for as long as we possibly can, but to do that we need a few people to spare a few quid. It’s just £1.25 a week to support the pod and help us keep doing what we do. It’d mean a lot.
