Tuesday night was lots of fun. After such a tough defeat to take on Saturday, the response was magnificent. It wasn’t a perfect performance, and it took some fantastic saves from Eastwood to keep us in the game, but we were so clinical when the chances came. That three points has turned this into a really good start to life back in League One, especially when you consider the performances could well have merited it being more like 10 or 12 points quite easily.
And next up is a trip to Burton, which simply has to be seen as a big opportunity to turn a good week into a great week. The Pirelli Stadium has not been a happy hunting ground for United over the years, and it’ll be the second away trip in a week for the squad while Burton get the other end of the deal with back-to-back home games.
