B*ro (A) Match Preview

This is the one we've been waiting for, our first trip to our county rivals in twenty-one years. We've sang the songs, we've laughed at their constant humiliations, but now comes the chance to secure the bragging rights for the first half of the season at least.

Injuries have struck the U's at the worst possible time, and Tuesdays punishing trip to Wycombe took it's toll on Fejiri Okenabirhie who looks set to miss out. We think Bonner will stick as closely as possible to that side that won midweek, which means starts for Will Mannion and Lewis Simper, the only question being will Jack Lankester reprise his role behind Joe Ironside, or will Sam Smith get another chance to show his stuff?

Who's In The Dugout? For the time being it's Grant McCann. We'd bet our last pound on Darren Ferguson taking over before the end of the season though.

Who's Their Player To Watch? Who's that one they always bang on about on BBC Radio Cambs all the time? Clarke-Harris? Him, probably.

What's Their Recent Form Like? Three wins, a draw and a loss in the last five.

Any Ex-United Players? None of them would be stupid/desperate enough.

Last Time Out: United 0-0 P*sh, 29 December 2001

The Papa John's Trophy doesn't count, so our last proper game against that lot was way back in December 2001, a 0-0 draw at the Abbey. The only real highlight of this game was ex-United defender Marc 'Judas' Joseph having a goal disallowed for offside whilst he was celebrating in front of the NRE. Sadly no video footage of this exists.
