Saturday was a successful afternoon. League One’s curtain raiser very nearly went as perfectly as it possibly could have done for United. Even with those two goals giving us a nervier finish than any of us needed, to return to the third tier and grab three points at home - in a game where we were 3-0 up and dominant around the 60th minute - is about as good as you can ask for.
